Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37
Forgiveness is never easy. But sometimes it feels downright impossible in light of devastating and horrendous pain we have suffered. When we forgive someone, it doesn't make them right or justify what they have done. It releases them into God's hands so He can deal with them. Forgiveness is actually the best revenge because it not only sets us free from the person we forgive, but it frees us to move into all God has for us. Forgiveness opens your heart and mind and allows the Holy Spirit to work freely in you. We all get hurt sometimes and usually by the people we love but we are human and we make mistakes. Our job is to give those mistakes and learn from it.

Lord, Draw Me Into a Closer Walk With Thee
Five Good Ways to Tell if Your Walk with God is Shallow:
1. If you follow the Lord for only what He can do for you.
2. If you only pray to God when things are tough or you need something.
3. If you get mad at God or disappointed in Him when He doesn't do what you want.
4. If you love God only because of what He does.
5. If you think you have to beg God or twist His arm to get Him to answer your prayers.
I think we all have fell into one of those categories at one time.
The question is how to fix it:
1. If you love Him enough to ask Him what you can do for Him, then your realtionship is growing deep.
2. If you find yourself praying to Him many times a day just because you are growing deeper.
3. If you can praise God no matter what is going on in your life, then you are growing deeper.
4. If you love and reverence Him for who He is, then your relationship with Him is growing deep.
5. If you believe that God wants to answer the prayers you pray in line with His will, then your relationship with Him is growing deeper.

The Purpose
The purpose of this blog is for women to be encouraged and motivated by each other. It is refreshing to see others comments and encouragement as we travel through our day. Each Thursday a topic will be posted. The topic will relate to the topics found in the best selling book The Power of a Praying Woman by Stormie OMartian. As we think of how that topic applies to our lives we can share how God has helped us in that area. I hope this blog will be a blessing to women everywhere.
